Thursday. JAN 17, 2013.

MBA action begins again tommorow evening with both of the unbeaten teams in the Middle School JV Division in competition, but not against each other. At least not yet. In the first game of the evening the "home team" Memphis Wolfpack 12U takes on No. 4 ranked Shadowlawn JV. Some might say that this will the be the Wolfpack's first true test. The game will see star guards Shemar Johnson and J. Cincore taking on twin sensations Michael andMikel Rice. Taking the floor for Shadowlawn also will be Wolfpack alum Phil Thompson. With such even guard play the game may come down to whose big men play bigger. Does Shadowlawn have an answer for Phabian "Fabo" Dale? Is Shadowlawn's bench too deep for the Wolfpack? We'll see tommorrow.

The second game of the night will be 12U action. With two of the top teams in the 12&Under division going against each other. No. 2 OB Ballers, led by do-it-all Simmie Jones, will take on No. 4 Memphis Rage-Red.

In the night's third game we return to Middle School JV action as the second undefeated team in the division, the Memphis Fire, takes on the Bellevue JV squad in what is sure to be a big game. Size-wise, the Fire may be the biggest team in the division, but Bellevue has been getting big play from big man Ferra Perkins, and we don't even have to mention Bellevue's Tyson Banks, a true leader on the court. This is sure to be a good one.

Tuesday. JAN 15, 2013.

Coaches and parents be advised. If Memphis City Schools are closed tomorrow then all of tomorrows games will be rescheduled.

Monday. JAN 14, 2013.

Another exciting weekend of MBA basketball is over. We had three full days of MBA action.
